#Gamers in #VampireSurvivors you might get Adventures Mode “needs just a bit more time in the oven”:

As part of the big content drop that we’ve just gotten for the oh-so-excellent Vampire Survivors, developer Poncle has confirmed a bunch of interesting news about what’s next for the game.

According to the update post on Steam, the plan was to put out this new game mode at the same time as the Whiteout Update.

However, the dev says that the content “needs just a bit more time in the oven before we’ll be able to release it.”

Here’s what their post had to say about the new mode and what it will mean for the game:

“Adventures remix content of the base game and add a bit of new flavour through new stage progression and descriptions. They allow to have a fresh start with new chapters to tackle, without losing anything obtained in the main game. There are several features and details that we will explain one by one in the weeks ahead.

There will be Adventures in the base game and also a special Adventure for each DLC.”

The Adventures update should hit Steam “in less than a month” if “everything goes well.” I can’t wait, if I’m honest!

Delays due to approvals

Poncle also confirmed in the same post that QA and platform-specific delays have meant a change in their policy towards updating the game globally.

It sounds like the studio got bored of a fussy approval process for the Whiteout update on one platform in particular. Thus, it has promised not to let silly delays on one hold up new content for everyone else. Sounds sensible.

Finally, the studio mentioned that a new cross-save feature is heading towards beta. If you’re interested in trying it out early, head over to Discord for more details.
