#Gamers On #Xbox are unhappy that #XboxGamePass includes games that you can’t actually play with the subscription:

Game Pass currently has 3 tiers, which has been causing confusion among some players lately.

Game Pass Core – subscription level with access to several dozen games, multiplayer on Xbox and a number of special offers (discounts, Free Play Days, etc.) Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass – two subscription options that give access to the full Game Pass catalog on Xbox or PCGame Pass Ultimate – a level that includes Game Pass Core, Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, EA Play and a number of additional bonuses

Xbox Game Pass players note that the subscription sometimes includes games that are not actually available to them. One Reddit user noticed that over the past few months, Party Animals, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre have been added to Xbox Game Pass. When you try to launch these main modes of these games, as you can see in the video below, you are immediately prompted to sign up for Game Pass Ultimate. This is due to the fact that the games themselves are multiplayer, and Xbox Game Pass does not provide access to multiplayer on consoles; you must separately have a Game Pass Core subscription or sign up for Game Pass Ultimate.

Players feel that Microsoft needs to more clearly highlight the games that are included in Xbox Game Pass, but which are virtually impossible to play without a Game Pass Core subscription. That is, those games that are completely (or to a greater extent) focused on multiplayer.
