I Dreamed a Dream
A Dreams PC version may be on the way according to a rumor — and this rumor isn't from some random person, either.
Let's rewind a bit. As Wccftech reminds us, rumors of Horizon Zero Dawn heading to PC have been floating around for a while now. (Quite separately, the game is also rumored to be making its way to VR.)
Those rumors just got a bit of a boost from Kotaku's Jason Schreier, who spoke to sources confirming that it is indeed making its way to PC. He also, however, doesn't think that this will be the only game making the leap — and he isn't alone with this theory.
Eurogamer's News Editor Hints at Dreams PC Version
Outside of Mr. Schreier's vague commentary, Eurogamer's News Editor Tom Phillips is hinting that Dreams will also be making its way to PC.
"Horizon on PC is a start, but Microsoft is still a long way ahead of PlayStation making a serious move to a platform-agnostic future," Mr. Phillips stated in a tweet. "Argue your games are worth more than slapping in a sub, sure, but the future is everyone being able to access great games wherever they play[.]"
"Horizon will be followed by others down the road - you don't need to Dream too hard to guess," he continued in a follow-up tweet. "But Xbox is already well-established launching games on PC at the same time, and eager to explore Switch..."
Note the capitalization on "Dream" in that second tweet — that's a neat little hint if we ever did see one. While Horizon Zero Dawn and Dreams were developed by two separate companies, both were published by Sony Interactive Entertainment — and that's who is ultimately going to be making the plans for a PC port.
So, will we see Dreams on PC? There's no hard evidence as of yet, so we can only hope. As always, take such rumors with a grain of salt
