Assassin's Creed Mirage is set to take you to 9th Century Baghdad, giving you an opportunity to experience the origin story of Basim. Mirage is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated upcoming Assassin's Creed games – owing to its smaller structure, and gameplay style falling more inline with the original Altaïr and Ezio adventures.
From what we seen so far, Mirage signals a return to the series' roots, with Ubisoft dialling back the expansive scope of the open-worlds seen in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Assassin's Creed Odyssey to bring us something smaller and more intimate in scale. The focus is back on social stealth, parkour, and acrobatic assassinations – just how we like it.
Assassin's Creed Mirage is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new games of 2023, and we won't have to wait long for this upcoming Ubisoft game to be in our hands. The publisher has confirmed that the Assassin's Creed Mirage release date has been moved forward by a week! So keep on reading for more on that, and everything else we know about the game.
