Nintendo has told its partner developers it is not planning to host a Nintendo Direct in June, according to a report from VentureBeat.
Nintendo originally planned to host a Nintendo Direct to go alongside E3 in June, however, E3 2020 was cancelled earlier this year due to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Nintendo has been forced to work from home due to the pandemic, which has pushed back their schedule.
The Direct that was planned for June might not happen until the end of the summer if the report is true.
"Due to COVID-19, release dates and other information … are subject to change," Nintendo previously said during the start of the March 26 Nintendo Direct Mini.
