Call of Duty: Warzone
Infinity Ward are taking all forms of cheating very seriously and that is why they have banned more than 50.000 cheaters from Call of Duty: Warzone and will continue to investigate date and identify potential infractions.
In the latest post over at Activision's blog , Call of Duty team have talked about the steps they are taking against cheaters in their free to play title Warzone. Infinity Ward say they take all forms of cheating and hacking very seriously and managing a level and fair playing field for all players is among their highest priorities at the moment.
The team has been enforcing bans since day one of Call of Duty: Warzone's launch. Since then more than 50.000 permabans have been issued worldwide, Infinity Ward confirmed.
On top of this, the anti-cheat program is in place to combat both cheaters and cheat providers. The program consists of security teams who monitor 24/7 to investigate data and identify potential infractions.
The security team also reviews all potential cheats and hacks including those who use aimbots, wallhacks and more. Players will also be able to report cheaters much easier with the new UI that should be coming soon.
"Simply put there’s no place for cheating. We recognize that there’s no single solution for combating cheaters, it’s a constant enforcement every day, 24/7. Rest assured, we’re committed to ensuring a fun and fair experience for everyone," Infinity Ward explained.
All in all, it is nice to see that Infinity Ward are working hard on anti-cheat measures especially after the latest influx of PC cheaters, who are ruining the fun for players on all platforms. If you have noticed cheaters while playing on Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you can try disabling your crossplay , at least until Infinity Ward reduce the cheating issue to a minimum.
