Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Three Starts on April 8

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare brings Alex back to the action with Season Three arriving on Wednesday.

Activision and Infinity Ward officially revealed the release date for the third season of post-launch content coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone with a big surprise: Alex is alive!
Teased via an official Twitter post, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season Three will be available on April 8. No further details have been specified yet for the third season, except for the upcoming characters that feature Alex at the top. If you haven’t played the story-driven campaign of Modern Warfare yet, you’ve already been spoiled a lot, so don’t keep reading this paragraph anymore. But for those who have played it, Alex sacrificed himself in the very last moments of the game to destroy the chemical weapons and buy some time for Farah to take her revenge, but now he is back again, though he has lost one of his legs.
With Season Two, Activision added the standalone Battle Royale mode, Warzone, to the game. And just a few days before announcing Season Three, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered launched on PS4, with PC and Xbox One editions coming during the upcoming season. Unlike Season Two, nothing has been leaked about the next season so far.
With Call of Duty: Warzone, the franchise managed to set a new record in the number of players by surpassing 30 million players in ten days. Featuring cross-play between PC and console players, Warzone pushes you into a huge map where 150 warriors will be competing against each other to be the last man standing. The game is currently available with Solo and Trios Battle Royale modes. With the fans demanding for Duos and Quad modes, it wouldn’t be much surprising to see these new modes coming to Warzone as a part of Season Three’s content.

Call of Duty: Warzone is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
