Rainbow Six Siege Smaller Patches Will Be Cut Due to COVID-19



With the global COVID-19 pandemic plaguing the world as you read this, businesses and more are affected, and that includes the gaming industry as well. One game that will (slightly) be affected is Rainbow Six Siege.
In a new announcement, Ubisoft has mentioned that “smaller patches” will be cut in the short term due to the virus.
As news on COVID-19 develops, a work from home policy will be enactedfor the health and safety of the Rainbow Six Siege development team.
While the day-to-day experience will remain unchanged on Rainbow Six Siege, we foresee that smaller patches will be cut in the short term. This will not impact upcoming content that is ready for release in the current update. However, after assessing the impact on future planned content releases and we will keep the community up to date on any shifts in timelines that might occur.

This isn’t the first time Ubisoft has addressed the pandemic. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot sent a letter out to employees encouraging them during this troubling times.
