Call Of Duty Modern Warfare Battle Royale Release Date Rumor
Two new sources have backed up claims about a March 10 release date, which was originally reported by VGC. First, eSports clan member Agony said in a Stream, “I signed no contract and I know it’s dropping Tuesday [March 10]”.
In addition, Okami 13, a reliable Call of Duty leaker, took to Twitter to post the March 10 date, while also claiming that Warzone will only support squads, something which has also been backed up by previous reports.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Warzone has been rumored for some time now, although bizarrely Infinity Ward has still yet to make an official announcement about the new mode. Initially, it was believed Warzone would drop on March 3, but that obviously didn’t happen.
Call of Duty Warzone is reportedly going to be made available to existing Call of Duty Modern Warfare owners via a grey-out menu, but you will also be able to download it separately for free. Warzone will apparently featured unified progression with Modern Warfare’s battle ass, allowing for cosmetic unlocks.
Activision is allegedly positioning Call of Duty Warzone as one of its three pillars alongside Call of Duty Mobile and its full priced series entires.
Call of Duty 2020 has already been confirmed by Activision, but there’s no details currently available on it. However, previous rumors have claimed the game is going to be a new entry in the Black Ops series helmed by Treyarch.
We do know one thing though: this year’s Call of Duty game won’t included jetpacks.
In related news, Activision has reportedly decided to cool plans for its Call of Duty movie, with the publishing giant no longer considering it a priority
