The Chinese Lunar New Year may not be until January 25th, but Ghost Town Games and Team17 are starting the festivities early with a feast of new stuff to do in the brilliant/infuriating Overcooked 2.
The Spring Festival DLC is out now on PS4 and other platforms, and it’s completely free. You’ll be able to cook up some Chinese-themed dishes (dim sum, hot pot and fruit platters) across five new Spring Festival-themed levels. And that’s not all. You’ll also be able to take control of two new chefs: Rat Chef and Turtle Chef. Not exactly the kind of chefs I’d want in my kitchen, but I’ve seen worse. No, really. Fair play to Ghost Town Games and Team17 for dishing out another free content update. Overcooked 2 has been causing heated arguments since 2018 and the developer/publisher duo haven’t let up yet. Expect more updates in the future, possibly until the end of time itself…
